Heike Jeromin

Perception, cognitive activity and mental spaces are interlinked with space, light and translucency. They are represented in befogged areas, in urban spaces with their reflections and structure, in sea- and skyscapes.
These domains demonstrate Derrida’s challenge of a fixed meaning and, for the same reason, I refuse medium specificity. With painting, photography and installation I aim to visualise virtual spaces, to translate atmospheres and to play on illusion and ambiguity to give freedom for otiosity and reflexion.
